1/3 cup olive oil
1/3 cup pineapple juice
1/3 cup agave nectar
1 garlic clove (minced)
pinch of salt
All I did was place these ingredients in a rinsed out salad dressing container from the store and shook the bottle until the dressing was mixed well. So easy and delicious!
Please ladies, if you can, try to take these few extra minutes to make your own salad dressing. The store bought varieties are loaded with yucky stuff that are not helping you. Don't diminish the health benefits of eating a salad by what you top it off with!
But if you don't like sweet dressings, try some of the other raw dressings online. My personal recommendation? If you like ranch dressing and are trying to make it in a healthy variety, don't use sunflower seeds as the base. The whole part of ranch is its milky/creamy consistency. What to use instead of sunflower seeds? Use a white nut like cashews or almonds or macadamia nuts.
Note: If you don't have pineapple juice, try orange juice or lemon juice. It's for the acidity aspect of the dressing. I chose juice because I like sweeter dressings. Enjoy!
